Pre-service Fellowship @ 10am
We aim to create a relaxed, welcoming environment for you and your family. Each Sunday morning, starting at 10am, we offer complimentary coffee and donuts in our lobby to give everyone a chance to relax and have fellowship before service. Sunday mornings are rushed and if you have kids, sometimes hectic! This provides you and your family an opportunity to slow down, take a breath, and relax a bit before worship.
Blended Music Styles
At Cedartown COG, we value blended worship. You can expect songs that lift up Jesus and encourage the body. We do a variety of styles: Hymns, contemporary, bluegrass, and southern gospel. After all, it's not about the MUSIC but rather about the WHO we are singing to and about... JESUS!
Pentecostal Worship and Operation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We are a New Testament, Pentecostal Church. We believe all things must be done decently and in order, however we do allow operation of the gifts as the Holy Spirit leads.
Childcare/Children's Church
We offer an fantastic Children's Church ministry led by qualified and capable leaders. This group sits together every service and participates in the worship service, but is dismissed to their class before preaching. We feel it is important for the children to experience a live worship environment. They need to see what it looks like to "worship in Spirit and in Truth."
